iNSIDE scoop: BAM (Broadway Antique Market)

I am excited to say that I finally made my way up north (way up!) to BAM to see what all of the hype is about. As you may have gathered from previous posts, I am very much a fan of mixing old with new and thought BAM might hold some 'objets' of interest. Prices are high (after all, the store is still within city limits), but there are definitely some great finds. If you are like the many others who are crazy about midcentury modern, add this place to your list. Fans of Danish modern will also be pleased. I snapped a few photos, but I highly recommend visiting the store in person as what is appealing to me may not be your cup of tea!

Loved this 50's child's chair. (You can't tell from the photo, but it's pretty small). Kind of like a mini-Eames chair, but only $55!

The fabric on these chairs is hideous, but they could certainly be recovered. Scandinavian dining set (includes 6 chairs and 2 leaves for the table) for $995.

Norman Cherner chair for $245. (They currently have two).

Mission-style oak table for $375

I'm actually headed to Chicago this coming weekend...so we'll have to be sure to hit BAM while we're there. I've been hunting high and low for a pair of Mid-Century slipper chairs... they may just have what I need.

Did you find anything for any of your projects?
